www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C177077/looking' better than when I sold it... Or at least, running better than when I sold it... Does anyone have the issues of Banzai it appeared in because in true journalist stylie they never sent me copies of those issues as promiced when I sold them the car...

...because in true journalist stylie they never sent me copies of those issues as promiced when I sold them the car... I'm hurt by this. Despite its correctness. We have Banzai though, so if someone does know I will be more than happy to send you a load of copies as they may be languishing in the warehouse. Chris

that would be excellent of you. I'm now tempted to buy the old banger back. Well the ad says it was in the mag a year ago, but I've worked at Unity for four years and have no recollection of seeing it! It must have been an outside project. Still, if that's the time-scale I can assure we'll have the mags. I cane get copies of every issue it appeared in. I'll speak to Joe, the editor tomorrow. Chris

Got the mags here, but it didn't get much editorial.
That said, ping me your address and I'll get them sent over to you.

Chris It did appear in the staff cars section for about 3 or 4 editions but sufered some engine issues and the writer moved it on. Will Datman got a mention for supplying a throttle something-or-other.

It had engine issues when I sold it, which is why I sold it.

laurels rule, i still love mine. ;D The noise out of the back is incredible (seeing it lost the back box and is now straight through!) I did have a universal 5" backbox on but i have gone back to standard is its a lot more angry sounding. The banded steels you have are way nice though!

Mine is going for a clutch next week, then perhaps it can go for a test and I can start using it again. I haven't the foggiest idea what MPG it gets, mind. Probably not great.
