Not an exciting build thread or anything but a fun day spent in the company of two good mates and did something productive with my life for a change
this old photo shows how typically messy the Akku-shed gets
like this...
So I bagged a few SPAM FROM off Freecycle and we set to work making more storage space.
nice day always helps
Paul is adding much to the proceedings with his air guitar routine
Steve is busy being the responsible adult in charge of measuring and checking things are safe
Ku is loose with power tools!
Luckily taking great care and being totally responsible with same.
Meh, leave it to the grown ups
"Yeah, that's staying up this time "
Paul's assistance was invaluable. We'd never have drunk all that tea without him. Hurrah, the day was saved.
Oi! off the car
"to me to you to me to you"
"Can you give me another couple of inches"
"You want another inch or two up your end"
etc
Paul and I screwing together
Any suggestion those cabinets are in anyway other than 100% level is barrel distortion on the part of the old Vivitar camera....
neat "lock box" is actually a CD-ROM filing cabinet liberated from the skip
All done, some freecycle sourced free standing shelves and some blue hanging/stacking containers also off Freecycle finish the job. The "hostess trolley" parts roller jobbie was a gift from Donttellhimpike.
All this lot cost me was a day of entertainment, two pizzas and £3.49 for screws because astoundingly I didn't have any in the right length for the job.
EDIT: the old radio on the top shelf was also off freecycle, the wood battens we used were cut up lengths from a freecycle haul, the kids plastic helmet was given me, possibly in some dressing up clothes (off freecycle)
See a theme developing here?
