After a lot of thinking, and the last 6 weeks being pretty poo on the House move side of things, I have had some time to re-evaluate some stuff in my life. I have decided to sell the bus to free up some cash, as the solicitors are busy costing me more than I want with our Dream house purchase. I have also realised that we will have so much to do and sort out with the new house, that it may be a few years before I get to even give the bus the remotest bit of attention, and to do the body and paint, stuff I was looking forward to . If you are interested, take a look in the For Sale section, an cross post elsewhere if you think there will be interest. That's a shame, but at least you've had a load of fun with it! Sometimes things are more important than cars. Good luck with the sale mate. Maybe there will be a bit of change left over to get a cheap retro with?

Maybe there will be a bit of change left over to get a cheap retro with? Still got Myrtle stashed in the corner, Nicola would not let me sell her just like that. There will be other retros, just that right now, the house will need the money more than I need the bus. And you are very right, the bus has given me nothing but pleasure, even right down to replacing the suspension this week. It is deffo a great bus, and being the only one in the UK on the road, and all the reactions you get, along with functional use....... even this weekend, when it was actually carrying load after load of stuff from my garage to the new house's garage, I enjoyed using it as a van.

One door closes. Another one opens. What he says ^. Get the house sorted and then you'll have somewhere to put the next toy.

I would've loved to have seen the grizz mobile and the grizz pod in tandem with they're matching radars but obviously it's not to be . I hope all goes well with the sale though mate and there'll be plenty of time for vehicular fun when the house is all sorted .

A sad Grizz and sorry to hear of your plight. Gawd knows me and my missus understand what you're going through but fingers crossed all goes well re: the house.

Good luck with the sale Rian, just think of all that space you'll have in that fantabulous garage In a similar position myself with a impending move of home so know how it goes. If I had £6000 worth of bus it would need to be sold though if I did have £6000 yours would need to be purchased. Posted a link on the Retro Riders forum, the Taunus would be great for lugging some retro bikes about. I'm sure this will find another good home as it's not the sort of vehicle that would be purchased not to cherish. Happy home making fella.

Sad times, but i understand fully, pretty much same reasons the Santana has now got its own for sale thread..
I need some time out to sort the house as well, and now your newly married, new house etc then in some ways its a very sensible move

Thanks all,
At least I know, if it does not sell, that I am meant to complete it one day.... and that would not be such a bad thing, but in the mean time, it is still for sale.
