bad link?
G-Tech Pro meters are generally regarded as being quite good. Seen a few magazine reviews on them. Apparently in the 1/4 mile they read about 2 tenths slow and 2 or 3 MPH fast. Or the other way around.
The BHP function is pretty bogus though.

I have one and can recommend them. Not tried the BHP setting but figured it wouldn't be much better than a guestimate so never bothered. Good for 0-60 and 1/4 mile times though, provided you can find a suitable flat section of road.

Only ever used the 0-whatever feature, doing sub five second 0-60s in a Mustang. It handled them very well and was backed up later on by some proper Datron timing equipment as being pretty much on the money...

how much are these things? might be perfect for the 'kitten challenge'; anything less than 15 seconds to 60 = the win!

They vary. I got mine for $35 on eBay USA as it was a "blow out" on last years model stock. List is like $180.
