Copied from the Teardrop site, so not my usual type of report. However, a couple of pics. Well, it will be a short report, as we only did 3 nights out, and about 400 miles. We go to the Retro Rides gathering every year, and when we decided to get married, Nicola suggested we go to the RRG '10 and then off to Bath in Somerset for a few days with the Teardrop, which had not been built at the time. (It would have been in the Transit, which ultimately did not make it this year) We also brought my Brother over to join us at the wedding as a witness, and to spend some time here in the UK. He slept in the back of the VW in a single bed mattress..... perfect !! The trailer proved itself to be watertight, as well as perfect for our camping trip. It also drew loads of attention and I was asked a few times where I had bought it, with some people not wanting to believe it was home built. PERFECT !! Married, and most of the photos taken. Just one pic of my younger brother, life saver, and great friend. Our spot at The Gathering. BBQ up and going, with Lewis checking out Nicola's Pink scooter, perfect for campground duties. The powered bike is one he built for the Gathering. He and others were hooning about the whole weekend on it. Marital duties for the man of the house. Stunning campgrounds at Bath.

Congratulations to you and Nicola! I met your brother whilst looking around the teardrop, he's awesome haha. The teardrop is equally brilliant I quite believe the comments you've received it is a really professional build!

Congrats mate, she seems like quite a catch! I know loads of us on here would love to find a woman who's not just tolerant of, but enjoys our hobby!
It's a shame, I didn't get round to coming over and having a good poke round the trailer, it looked great!
I wandered past a couple of times but you looked deep in conversation, didn't want to butt in!

Good to see you at the Gathering Rian (after a very funny look from your brother, and me looking like a bit of an idiot for thinking he was you ) Teardrop looked awesome, I'd definitely love to make one of them one day. And hats off to the new Mrs Grizz for thinking the Gathering would be a good place to honeymoon! Sorry to hear about your brothers loss, hope his other half is OK?

And hats off to the new Mrs Grizz for thinking the Gathering would be a good place to honeymoon! Sorry to hear about your brothers loss, hope his other half is OK? I think she will be OK, his problem is that she is very religious, and will seek all the blam in herself, and not allow herself time to heal. She has a younger son too, and I hope they do not forget about him, that he is still alive. Other than that, life does go on. Nicola is a great woman, and I am sure in time to come I will figure out more reasons as to why I married her.

Forgot to mention, she completely surprised me by arriving in this truck...... Redneck bride indeed. Her Bouquet was Proteas as well, another surprise, the South African national flower.

Good to see you at the Gathering Rian (after a very funny look from your brother, and me looking like a bit of an idiot for thinking he was you ) don't worry I also gave your brother a wave and hello thinking it was you Grizz lol lol Wasnt until after I did it I thought to myself 'he looks different in pics LMAO.' Nicola waved and said hello though. Not that she would have had a bloody clue who I was ;D Congrats to you both!
