Since parting with my 525 last year, I've had a hankering for another one of these. I'm looking for one I can stick in my front garden and do a bit of work on. Ideally one needing a bit of mot work and tlc. I can't do major engine work or welding, I haven't got the knowledge or the time. So, if anyone's got one, or knows of one, give me a shout please. Please don't send me the link to datman's 525 for sale on here, I've been trying to buy it off him but don't think I'm offering enough, just what I think it's worth, so negotiations have stalled now. Ta people.

Tetley i have a 525tds and I'm only in purfleet. Not sure whether I'm interested in selling but could always pop round and show you/meet you and see what happens. I'm almost 100% sure i will want too much (tbh i paid 1200 6 months ago and now the car owes me 2 so you know around where I'm talking) but as I'm in no need to sell doesnt matter either way. Still be cool to meet what seems to be my closest RR member lol. PM me if your interested. Kris

I have a 525i SE Auto with a LPG conversion that I may be looking to sell shortly. It is mainly used by my wife as I decided I didn't like it about 30 minutes into the journey home with it. We've had it about a year and I've just about persuaded her to sell it now. It's registered in 1996 so must be one of the very last E34's. It has the 24v 2.5 engine. The LPG system is single point with a tank in the boot (not the spare wheel well). It's done 112K miles. The car is metallic black with grey cloth interior, it currently has a private plate but this would be removed. It doesn't need any work doing, It's just had 4 new tyres and had no problems passing the MOT a few months ago. It is on disability tax so would need to be retaxed on sale. It had an oil leak when we bought it so we paid a local specialist to repair it which involved removing the sump and timing covers (£300!). It's totally oil tight now. It's had new front disks and pads all round within the last year. I fitted a pannel K&N filter at the last service, but other than that it's standard. I'm unsure if a previous owner has lowered it as the rear arches seem to be rolled. I think it's slow, but Autotechnic and Autobahnn BMW specialists have both assured me it's running fine and found no problems. I've decided that it must be just me so I'm looking at getting a Nissan Stagea RS four instead.

Since parting with my 525 last year, I've had a hankering for another one of these. I'm the current owner - I bought it from Minidan just over a year ago. I think it's an amazing car and it resulted in me giving up my Cortina addiction!! I'm very sorry but Boris isn't looking for another home right now - however if I do decide to part company with him, I'll let you know.
