Right to update- the car is MOT'd until August, has had a pair of new front tyres in the last 6 months, the interior is nice condition with the usual wear and tear on the front seats (it has the exotic Zebra interior) and has the earlier 4 dial dash. It has been lowered too.
A second hand engine compartment lid, rear panel and front panel were put on (these are black), a brand new exhaust has been put on too.
When we bought it Dad gave the car a thorough service and rectified problems with the gear linkage and box and renewed parts where appropriate. I'll ask him for a run down on what has been done.
The car ran smoothly and had no apparant problems, it started fine and didn't overheat.
Dad thinks that all that is required now is for the tracking to be done and the repairs to the rear wing, new indicator lenses put in and if you wanted new wires on the bonnet pins.
I believe the car is drivable though will check that but is no longer taxed, I can tax at cost if preferred.
I drove the car everyday with no problems (aside from the wet roads ) and would be keeping it if I could. Any questions or pics wanted ask away, if you'd rather phone PM and I'll send you my number. Would suit as track car or daily run around or basis for some amazing engine transplant project??
