On Sunday (26th March) it was decided to do a little bit of exploring of the Green lanes of Church Stretton/long mynd in Shropshire. (and many thanks to local land owners and farmers for there help and genuine kindness towards us Church Stretton car park 8.00 am (...who forgot to alter their clocks!) off we go "Ooh look what we've found in the hills" 'Crusty old truck of war' remains of ex- French Army lorry of Saviem manufacture I think. Been there dumped on the verge for ages ... but not for sale ...hmmm Cibie Super Oscars Coffee time. The longmynd hills all in all a pleasant Sunday jaunt.

^ Yes, front half black ...rear half PINK! The 'crusty truck of war' was dumped there and the 'chuvit' along with lots of other stuff (off road buggies, Military vehicles, old cars - some good, some decaying); amazing place, nobody about and only way to get there was buy offroad vehicle ...so how did some of stuff get there? Chuv had extremely low profile/some strange size tyres, we all comented on that but can't remember exact size, something crazy like 175/ 40 13R

Yes, thanks to Twincam for closing the gates, chasing the sheep, holding my coffee ad not screaming at the muddier bits. The Land Rovers may look fairly clean, but I can't tell the colour of the engine, chassis or running gear at the moment, there all brown. 'Tis a pity there are no video clips of the Disco on the hills, the V8 sounds, Mmmmm. Quick nurse I feel a Pervy Tone moment coming.......

Hang on if you remember the sheep started chasing the Land Rovers ...they thought it was the farmer bringing their food. ;D Ah yes that V8 in the Disco is superb. It is a shame about that Chuv as it did look rather good... one wonders if it will end it's days under the tank
