Ladies and Gents, just a few things i want to clear up. Rules for the campsite are the same as last year; no driving after 10pm no fires BBQ's need to be off the ground bottom of the field will be quieter than the top dogs are welcome, but have to be on lead AT ALL TIMES. be nice, have fun.
campsite opens 3pm friday, and the gates will be locked at 10pm each night.
And one extra very important point ... Ive seen talk of people tweaking/modifying cars in the campsite. As far as we are concerned, the workshop is where you build them and the Gathering is where you show them. the use of power tools, most notably welders and grinders, is not welcome at the Retro Rides Gathering there will be children and dogs (not to mention drunk adults) about, if you cant see why we take this approach come find me and i'll explain all about health and safety in a workshop environment.

i completly understand the no dangerous powertools thing..
but what about the odd spot of emergency arch rolling/wheel changing?.
or any maintenance needed for the track action or whatever..?

Some of the Gung-Ho mob will be turning up ticket/camping passless. Deano (who's driving the Big Red Bus) has got his, but those travelling down with him are intent on paying at the gate. They are all (apart from one) sleeping in the wagon though, so they won't be needing any tent-space. That won't be a problem.....I hope! ;D

the turn off is almost impossible to see at anything over 5mph, as we found out last year, can turn around in the car park though ;D
with the museum on your right, as you approach it, the turn off was just before the museum on the left.

If you can do it with hand tools,.. is all good. Does this mean an impromptu bit of spring choppage will have to be done with junior hacksaws ;D
