	Saw this mentioned in the latest PPC mag in a feature about bike engine swaps into cars and was intrigued. Hot Rod Hawg is the brainchild of Glenn Bartels, son of Bill and Merle Bartels of Bartels’ Harley-Davidson of Marina Del Rey, California. The 99” wheelbase, tube frame features adjustable A-arm front suspension. The rear axle is from an S-10 pickup and narrowed to fit. The 121c.i. Harley evo V-twin motor has 121hp and 125ft lbs of torque and apparently the power to weight ratio is similar to a new Mustang GT convertible. Shifting is handled by a Mazda RX 7 four-speed automatic. A bike-engined car with a difference. Sweet.

	Bit of a munter that isn't it. Quite a nice idea with the Harley engine, but the body is awful. Far too much scuttle panel length and the extended body sides are hideous. Would be better with a longer engine bay (shorter scuttle) and a bonnet and sides to cover the engine. Matt

	I like the principle but the proportions of the car are just wrong, especially with that nose stuck so far forward. These are available as kits in the US I think. Maybe something to do with the donor vehicle?

Might have better proportions lengthwise with the enging longitudanally, OK it would be a bit narrow but it could work...
