Going for the 1st time this year but got high hopes  I have set the Gathering as my deadline to complete quite a big change on the car. I am cutting it very fine, in fact, scheduled to get it sorted on the Friday. My car isn't very well known so people may not even notice anyway, but I hope it will get some nods of approval from the open minded peeps going. Anyone else doing something special for the gathering? |

I'm hoping to have got the Alternator fitted (bodged) in time. So nothing big in other words haha.

I'm bringing the SD1 which should have come last year but epic rust issues on it and another car (that did make it) mean this year after 14 months it shall finally make it.
hopefully it will have been on the road for about 4 days prior to the show after a 5 year absence from the roads of britain.
I'm looking forward to seeing your tolly again especially in the new colour.

AARGH! I don't think I can make the Gathering this year, but it makes it worse now that I know I'll be missing the grand debut of the Rochdale Olympic! I've been looking forward to seeing that ever since you first posted about it.  |

I just need to fit a new ( bigger) engine to my budget drifter , along with changing the colour ,painting the new rims!, maybe fitting my hyd handbrake , getting it moted/taxed and most of all hoping it runs!! ie a 3.2 on 2.8 management for now ,other than that not much else!!! phew!!

The Rochdale will hopefully be in for an MOT in September sometime, hope that teh Goodwood Revival will be it's first airing. Would love to try it on the track at the Gathering though.... |

was hoping to have the cortina done by now ready for the gathering but dead ecu says no . so i'll be in the golf instead . the wife's lupo is new for 2010 but sadly still very much a stocker ( be getting some work over the winter )

Big fail on getting the MX5 how I wanted it...but need to finish off the paint job on the Delica and put it back together as well as organise a lot of stuff for the stand.
And then there is 'Project X' which is currently a long way off being done, but some serious long days/late nights this week and hopefully some extra help will have it in some kind of usable state by Friday. It won't be finished, not by a long way, but it will hopefully be there.
I'll be the with the shocking welders tan, seriously grubby, massive bags under my eyes and probably sleeping all weekend, but I'll be ecstatic if 'X' makes it. ;D
Fingers crossed.
Really looking forward to seeing the Chevette but most of all catching up with everyone and meeting everyone else. On that note - I'm off to melt some more metal and get myself dirty. Again.
