Certainly seems that way!
£200 of the budget was spent tonight on a 998 engine and ancillaries with box, also driveshafts and some little disc brakes, a wooden dash with two clocks, a "jet black" interior, and a set of 12" minilites.
What have I let myself into?!

Finally, finally, i found a sub-£800 donor car (ya rly). It's had a bit of an off (minor tbh) but no logbook or plates, so perfect. It runs very well and has 10" steels. I'll put up pics in a build thread when I get my proper computer up and running

ha, I don't care about the discs any more, I have recently overhauled drums all round on the donor which will do just fine! All the stuff i bought for it will be sold now (the A+ engine, minilites, and the shiny front subframe and doors can all go.) I'll get a build thread up soon - but until I get the computer fixed up and re-installed a build thread would be somewhat empty with no pics

They did, and they're worth a clean fortune I'm told.

They did, and they're worth a clean fortune I'm told. They did, and they are, but there are other options! Mk1/2 Fiesta calipers seem very straight forward to attach and fit under most 10" wheels. I got a set for £30 waiting to go on mine Have a search, there's a very useful instruction video on Youtube as well.
