As the thread title says anyone going saturday morning? Just wondering as 5 of us are but we would like a few other cars to convoy with to make it more entertaining ;D. If anyone is maybe we could 'link' up as it were (State where would be best and we can try sort something out). We are coming from Bucks (up the A41), we'll be going round the M25 and getting on the M3 at junction 12/2, I think. Don't know what time yet though, we're flexible. Any good? There will be 3 or 4 of us  |

We'll probably head down on Saturday morning but not sure where from yet. Hopefully it won't be in the new car and the van will be working, so plan something next week?

Yeah I will be heading over from High Wycombe on Saturday morning so we could all meet up somewhere and move on.
I was planning to go A404, M4, A33, M3, A303
But I am easy really! I was planning on heading out from my house no later than 9am really, to try and beat the traffic and be there before lunch. Infact I was thinking about going a bit earlier.
Are there services on the M3 we could meet at? I am also happy to treck round the M25 and meet at some services just outside the m25?
Are there any you guys had in mind??

Littlelise and Luckgti, you lot will be almost driving by my house, so you could call just before you get to the M40 junction and I could leave then, or get onto the M40, go one junction up and meet at the beaconsfield services off the M40. It is only 5 minutes off the M25, and BigKris could head out of town on the A40 and meet there too!

I'll probably be going along the M25 from Junction 28 onwards at somepoint on Saturday, so I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Nicola, my Brother and I should be heading out on the Saturday morning as well.
Not sure what time we leave, but the bus will be gently driven at up to 100km/h or 60mph, as the teardrop will be behind and it will be loaded, and has no brakes (well, not in the modern sense)
I would hope to be away from ME1 Rochester area by 8am at the latest.
In a modern, the AA Routeplanner says it is 190 miles, and should take about 3hr 30 minutes.
Add in the bus and trailer, smoking stops for my brother, coffee and pee breaks, and I would guess ETA 5 hrs at around 1pm.

M3 services at Fleet, loads of parking and room, and food options  but I'd be looking to you join you on the A303 somewhere round Andover! |

Bigkris - lol yeah I figured.
Last time I left on saturday lunchtime and the traffic was really bad on the A303.
Lucky - we can arrange to meet up at a suitable services at a set time, or keep in touch via phone to arrange something more ad-hoc!

Well I was origionally going to go M4, A33, M3, A303, I is a slightly sorter route as the crow flies, but if M25, M3 works better for others, I am cool with that!
Lets see who else signs up and then have a group conflab.
