I haven't seen a Bug that has affected me quite as much as this one for a long time: Utterly PERFECT. Colour, rims, stance, SPOT ON. Blimey. That'd ALMOST convince me to have one ;D

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I don't think I could get a Bug like that for £500, so the Micra is still on ;D

it is cool and it's great that it has some thoughtful touches like the escellent stance but aren't these just rich modders toys. Throw enugh money at it and it will look cool.

It smashes through my 911 rule, which states that ANY car that costs more than a rough but useable daily-driver 911 to purchase is NEVER worth it. The 911 is ALWAYS the better option. IMO This may change once I've had a 911 and driven it daily, of course ;D

104ZS - thats ruibbish mate. You need taste/an idea/direction to build a cool car. You could in fact argue its harder to build a cool car with £20k plus because there would be loads more options to you for each aspect of the car. Therefore to get the right 'mix' would be that much harder. I never understand peoples 'problems' with spending big money on cars. Its what keeps our 'scene' alive.
DarrenW - thing is a 911 will always be a 911. Nothing more, nothing less. And the way they are going they are gonna be the next ford mondeo/3 series beemer. The sun came out yesterday and they were everywhere!

Throw enugh money at it and it will look cool. Err, no. Throw £20k at a saxo (as indeed some of the boom boys do) and it will still look curse word. But it will probably have a loud radio.

The sun came out yesterday and they were everywhere! HEAVEN! Just something I have always wanted, since I was a kid. A mid-80s impact bumper would do me PERFECT. I'd even have a Targa

I'd even have a Targa i know what you mean, and i love them. They are just becoming a little too common for me now. I'm more tempted by a 914 or 928 at the moment. plus, my bugs gonna be cooler than any f*cking cock extentsion porsche! imho of course ;D

OK OK I take it back! Badly phrased. I totally agree 20k 30K or more and you can still end up with a dog. As scrapingscrap points out plenty of Saxo's prove this. I think what I am saying is that you can just hand your car over to a decent custom shop and write a hefty cheque. Of course you can do it yourself too!

I think what I am saying is that you can just hand your car over to a decent custom shop and write a hefty cheque. is there a problem with that? in my eyes there is no difference between someone who works their ar5e off to build a unique car, and someone who works their ar5e off to pay for someone else to build them a unique car.
