With a great lump in my throat I offer up for sale my 100a Datsun. At this stage it will be to see what interest I get as I have only just decided to do this due to financial reasons. Otherwise it would stay in my company.
I bought this in February 2009 from a fellow retro rides member and have loved owning this car and driving it on a daily basis...Yes! It is that reliable. The engine is spot on other than a slight oil leak from the gasket on the fuel pump which I will try to sort before it parts from me but it hardly shows on the stick.
Cosmetics:
Well like most Datsuns it has rust. A lot of which I have been trying to sort over the past year of owning it. The front wing tops have been tidy'd up but will need doing properly as they are painted with primer however there will be a new old stock front wing to replace the drivers side which just needs sanding before painting.
Underneath is pretty good and will post pictures of this soon, the drivers side sill has been sorted for the last MOT and the passenger side is pretty clean.
The rear arches have been grinded down and folded to allow the wheels to fit, this is a bit tatty to be honest but I was planning on sorting this but bad weather recently has stopped this. Depending on how quickly a buyer appears will determine if this will be sorted before.
The back end is not too bad.
The paint is faded on the roof and there are random patches of red primer as I was planning a full respray.
It has JDM style plastic arch trims which go over 14x7 MA61 Supra wheels which I have painted white and black.
On the front is a custom chin spoiler.
It has GAZ coilovers on the front and cut springs at the rear
Interior:
The seats baring the drivers one are in good condition, the drivers seat has some rips in the seat section.

There will be two 6x9 speakers with the car in the rear cards.
Parts I have fitted:
A new exhaust (standard through pipe) to a new Cherry Bomb.
New water pump and pulley
New spark plugs
Chrome rocker cover with breather filter
new rear dampers
New pads all round
New brake lines (front)
New filter
New track rod ends
The brake disc on the drivers side is slightly warped but I have new front pads and discs to go on and may have them done before sale.
I have tried to be honest as I can and please ask any questions you may have, like I said, I really do not want to get rid of this car so you can imagine how hard it is to type a for sale thread![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)
