I'll up my offer by fifty quid Will, delivered, which going by the offers you've had on here, ain't too sad.
If that's not enough mate, then that'll be me out of the running.
I don't think it's a case of people being tight, but the car has stood for a year (why?) and could want a good few quid throwing at it. When you take in recovery costs, possible repairs, mot and tax, it's not that cheap, reasonably priced, but not cheap.
Not having a pop, just trying to be realistic.
Hope I haven't said anything that offends.
Otherwise, just give your dad a nice present :-)

I now have the wheel for this, I think you might get away with just putting ONE tyre on this car and its MOT ready! I have been let down by two people from here who say they are coming and never turn up. Seems crazy to me. Webuyanycar have offered £315 for the thing, can I stoop so low? Matt, I can deliver yes but £1 a mile round trip from RH19 1TX. Might get a good quote on shiply for moving this, maybe £150 or less ? Let me know if interested.

We Buy Any Car very rarely pay what they offer on the 'net, they are trained to offer you 30% of that price and you have to take the car to them! Have a free bump but avoid them at all costs!

It'll be £315 minus a £49.99 admin fee, if you want it quickly then minus another £25 for quick transfer, and they will be looking to get circa 25-30% off the quoted price, minus the fees.
In reality they'll probably pay about £100 quid after the fees for it. You might be able to get £150 out of them.

I still have this but I bought tyres for it today as I'm convinced it will find a buyer ok if i get it MOTd, having no MOT is making people run away thinking theres some major problem with it! Can still sell it to you as is with the tyres for a little extra or I will get it MOTd during the week and readvertise it with its new MOT.

Okey dokely. Failed on cracked inner sidewall of one tyre and wiperblade not clearing screen properly.
So I have fitted a good part worn tyre (thats three I've bought for it now) and a new blade and had it retested. PASSED NOW!
Was going to advertise it for 595 or something , which I think is pretty cheap for a 140mph car (according to their figures)
They quote also that the 525i can do over 40 to the gallon! Surely that can't be possible?
Anyways will take £550 for it if its a quick painless sale. I've spent a whole day rushing about gathering the bits for it, getting tyres fitted, plus the costs associated etc, so I think thats not bad, i just don't want to LOSE money on it.
