Is this retro? I don't really know but if anyone wants to buy it, give me £ 450 400 and come get it  Its been sitting for over a year and so has no MOT or tax. Only 88,000 miles tho. Had a look round it and all I can see it might need is a couple of tyres as they have some cracks. Car has some parking dings but is generally good condition. Spec: 2.5 6 cyl 4 speed Automatic transmission with Sport/ Economy / Snow mode Electric Sunroof Electric mirrors, windows x 4 Central locking Arm rests. Projector headlamps with height dial. Front foglamps Steering wheel rake adjustment SRS Airbag Main dealer serviced until 12,000 miles ago. Some other service history including recent waterpump. |

Holy pants these things have some go in em.
Been looking round this, discovered a slight issue, one of the wheels is metric, you will need to find a wheel for it. Anyone got one? (15 inch)
Make me an offer on the car folks.

Still got this, someone must want a big solid RWD quick mile muncher? Would it be worth me getting the tyres sorted and MOTing it do you think? Do you think someone would want it then? Or is everyone buying corsas and puntos these days.

Personally, I'd love it but I can't even express interest until I know my other car is going tomorrow (Escort, not Zodiac!).
These things are always popular though, and with 88k on the clock people will snap it up. The wheel thing is an annoyance though (not to me) which will hinder the sale.
As for the MOT, stick it through. At best it'll pass and you can get a bit more for it, at worst you'll at least have an honest list of things that need to be done to get it back on the road.

Hi, could be interested. Am doing a charity run from London to monaco in Sep, can't spend over £500 including any work. Few questions, Whats mechanical condition like, not too worried about how it looks, just need it to make it there and back and then be worth a few quid at the end as it will be sold for charity, what will it need for MOT and could you deliver to Sandhurst Berks? cheers

its done 88,000, its BM, the engine sounds like new, i don't think theres much if anything wrong with it mechanically. its quiet , smooth, fast. might want a shock absorber or something. will take 350 for this if it goes today or tomorrow .

ive got 150 for it , not because i want to insult you but because all id want it for is racing and i cant justify spending more than that on a race car , so if you get proper stuck and need it gone then my offer is there ..... also i may well be coming to you during the week if you still have that little loud blue thing as it would do my missus fa work

The trim I mentioned isn't heavy so that's another £80 aside from scrapping. But like you said, that isn't what RR is about. |
