I can't be entirely certain but I reckon those are amplifier leads and the cassette needs an external amplifier to function.
Seem to remember seeing them on one of the first ever in car CD players that came my way.

Looks like Fujitsu Ten came out with the BIYO component system in 1980, i cant find out much more than that, but if its anything like my old Clarion system was it might require more than just an amp to work. Mine had a DSP and a control box as well as a seperate box to plit the signal between CD/MiniDisc for instance. Mine was all DIN plugs and theres was quite a lot of it. Now mine was a later one than yours, and yours may not need so many bits, but don't go spending to much money on an amp in case you need more bits. I have to say though my Clarion was the best sounding set up i ever had, i was running a ten inch sub in a small sealed box and more than once had peope searching through my old XR4i trying to find where i'd hidden the 15's they thought were in it as well!

The Fujitsu Ten system I have uses an amp and the whole lot is prewired with fitted plugs... even the speakers. What you probably need for that is one of these... Edit: Actually... I just checked and the above unit has different din connectors so it'll be a different unit entirely for your system.

Wow, thats kinda cool. I would be tempted to try find out the pin-outs on those leads and see if they can be wired up to a regular in car amp.
