PCD is 5x108 so...Newer Volvos and Frauds, non?
I'd certainly love a mk1 focus in matte paint and big black steels...

Penski, you'll have been looking at Turbobricks then? Mappur is me, err, me old son...
Another reason why I was miffed earlier, after finding out about the 17in steels, I managed to reverse my BMW into a post outside the Peugeot dealership...
I guess that's karma for you, one good, one bad ;D

Haha, quality.
I was idly browsing turbobricks, yeah - saw that post, actually thought 'Hmmm...one to be recruited to the R-R fold...' then googled to find the PCD.

Good work on the PCD find, I hadn't had a chance. I'm going to order one up tomorrow and try it for size next week. I suspect some adjustment might be needed, but a pleasing result all round really... ;D

OoOooOooooHh! This is a naughty topic.... Exactly HOW MUCH trouble do you think I'd be in with the missus if she came home to find I'd painted the focus wagon olive drab / afrika corps and applied said steels. I think it's worth the risk.... It's all reversible, and at £120 for a set of wheels, cough, let's not forget brand new as well. Why not? I can't see a risk at all... If it was an accident blame/type claim advert they'd be rubbing their hands with the certainty that it was indeed, a sure fire winner...

Mmm. don't know.
I have some 16in steels kicking about, but they're a bit skinny to be worth fitting.
I have tried to expalin to folk what I would like to do to the focus and they just look at me like I'm mad*.... either the look outlined above.... or with steels & chrome 1/2 width hubcaps and fablon'd flanks (think griswald family truckster) against the standard 'aqua frost' paint....
(*they may be right!)

Mere details, I've built enough stuff in my head to fill an NCP car park, I just can't afford to get them all out past the barrier... penski in da house: 7.5x17 steels PCD is 5x108 so...Newer Volvos and Frauds, non?
That must be what our local Rod Builder Max has on his dark blue x-Norwegian embassy 960 sedan, it still has those little "flag poles" on the front fenders, although the Norwegian flag is replaced by the Jolly Roger, it's seriously slammed but all stock and rolling on 17" black steelies (of unknown orgin acording to Max) and low profiles, it looks quite cool, I'll see if I can snap som pix when the snow is gone and he starts to use it again.....
DP says: I'd love an X-SÄPO (Swedish Secret Service) Volvo sedan slammed over steelies rolling around scaring biker gangs with.....
