I have a fetish for these, keep it amongst yourselves but I'd have one over an old Landy. I like the old FJ40 ones with the round lights like this un, : Anyone else feel them? You never see them these days, guess a lot got exported at MOT time. Having trouble finding images as the net keeps crashing.. hmm, probably this post will disappear too, oh well.... ooh, I like this: It's $5k and it's perfect!! ;D In fact, there's loads of fine examples here for those with working connections: www.socallandcruisers.com/rigs2.htmACTUALLY, woah, hold it, I've got a remote control one of these in a cupboard at my Mum's somewhere, I hope it's still there!!

Those 'older style' versions of Land Cruiser have still been made by Toyota till recently for 3rd world countries and (special order) for the 'Japan Home Defense Force' (Their Military) and bought by Egypt, South Africa and South American armed forces.

Theres quite a few of those over here in France, I say quite a few but there are actually hardly any due to being a favourite in N. Africa. Check French ebay though, they come up from time to time.

Big fan of these, way cooler than a Landy in my opinion, I even like the modern concept version. Did some miles in western Australia in one owned by a guy called 'Spud'. Which I believe is what half the male population in Australia are called.

Sorry, was a bit negative back there without offering anything in reply... FJ56, built for the Japanese Police as a Riot vehicle... Remember the Mom wagon from Lost Boys? This is what I mean about actually doing something, axle articulation anybody? Whoop, rad, stoked, high five etc

penski- if you go on BMEzine is that Shannon stood on top of the first one in your pics? I think Landcruisers kisk ass, maybe better than a Defender, who knows.
