Calling all petrol heads! Is your car stylishly modified? Have you turned a boring and average motor in to a blinged up sexy, racing machine? Is your metal now a fiery, head-turning, maxed-out motor? Do you think your pimped up car is worthy of a £4,000 cash prize and is worthy enough to be showed off to millions of people?
Auto Trader's competition, 'Curves and Chrome', is looking for car nuts just like you! The competition is aimed at finding the nation's ultimate customised and pimped cars both professional and amateur and will be judged by a panel of [glow=red,2,300]industry experts[/glow] including TV presenter, [glow=red,2,300]Mike Brewer[/glow]; Phil Leech of SQPlus; John Sootheran, Editor of Max Power; and Editor of Auto Trader Stuart Milne.
So do you think your car is up for the challenge? Is it the best maxed up motor in the UK? If so, we would love to hear from you! All we need to know is the make and model of your motor, what modifications you've made and how much they cost, whether you're an amateur or professional, plus a few other details. Get your thinking hats on too, because we want to know why you think your car is so special.
The Best Amateur Modified Car winner will receive £4,000 in cash and the Best Professional Modified Car winner will win three weeks of advertising with a full page advert in their local Auto Trader magazine and 2 adverts in the bi weekly Top Marques magazine - worth a wicked £4,264. The maxed out motors will also be unveiled to the nation's press and public during The British International Motor Show at ExCeL, London from 18 - 30 July 2006. Both winning show cars will be on the Auto Trader stand for the duration of the Motor Show for all to admire!
Nice and simple - two categories. If you are a garage or company that professionally pimps up motors, nominate yourself in the BEST MODIFIED CAR - PROFESSIONAL category, and if you are a one man band, and max out your motor for the sheer love of it, fill out the BEST MODIFIED CAR - AMATEUR entry form!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Why is the word 'bling' used so often? Surely 'polished' or 'chromed' etc... etc... would sound better. Also they like use of the word 'pimping', now round were I live this 'word' is usually involved with prostitution etc., then followed by visits from the boys in blue !!! ;D What sort of car enthusiast are they trying to attract ?
