Went along to the FUCEM meet at the Limes Cafe yesterday - I still have custody of Donttellhimpike's Mitsi Celeste, so any excuse for a run out in it! It was a small turn-out, but good quality cars and great people as ever.  ^ Tonka12's new motor  ^ Lovely Mk2 Golf GTI 16v  ^ Nathan's B, complete with bodyshop dust ;D  ^ Pure evil.  ^ I've promised myself that I'll take a photo of Lizardking's Zon that isn't a head-on shot. I always seem to do it.  ^ The Celeste. Fantastic car, this.  ^ Heading home. I took the opportunity to photograph the Celeste whilst I was there - one of the coolest cars I've never owned. ;D    |

Great pics there Dean!
Was a good meet - you really looked as if you are enjoying the Celeste! The Widlets loved the manta 'with the tattoo'!
309 at the next one is a strong possibility!

Thanks for the comments guys. Turn-out varies a lot - sometimes there are loads of cars and other times just a handful. I suppose it depends what other events are on at the time. 309 at the next one is a strong possibility! That's promising! Will be nice to see that getting out and about. Good to see you mate. Give me a shout if you want a hand with anything. |

Dean we must get up a petition to get Donttellhimtraveller to sell you the celeste it was obvious from your ace when you drove in that you are in love with this car and such love must not go unrequited,When you pull up in the usual transport you look mildly preturbed , frightened and a little relieved, but this time you looked like a cool,relaxed man with a plan. bytheway I will be sorting the bolts you asked for asap

You looked almost as relaxed as when you had the Saab!  I can't help thinking how awesome the Celeste would look on Hayasashi (sp?) Street Fins and slammed HARD on the deck with a Turbo motor from an early Lancer Turbo! ;D ;D ;D Thanks for the offers of the help guys - maybe prior to the Gathering, we have some 'rescue weekends' to get the convoy ready! Once I've ironed out the bugs in the Bond I think I'll be able to relax a bit more and enjoy it. I feel like I've not really gotten to grips with the Bond as time and money have been scarce, but I'm positive that there's a good car in there somewhere! Thanks for sorting the fasteners too, that's a great help!  |

hey guys looks like I missed a nice meet ,the fry up club is much better attended in the winter months , we need to get our heads togethere sometime or put idea's on the events thread ,
I was going to knock it on the head til september /october time ,there again we could have a mega push to drum it up abit, the venue is ace ,
would it be better to move dates or times ?? anyway thats one for the events thread
dean i'm glad you like the celeste ,i wasn,t looking for another car atm but this HAD to be bought ,
I have only driven it about 20 yds so you are a great guinea pig!!! it looks great in the pics ,if I keep it it will be slammed ,rims,chin spoiler and thats it !!
when I get it back i'll start a build thread [at this rate though I think I might have to sort out visiting rights LOL]
seriously dean it would only be stuck on next doors drive atm ,
nice granny btw russ and I MUST make it to fucem soon to see that manta!! ooh and to show the celica

It could defy the point calling it fry up but moving it to the afternoon could be better in the show/summer season? Doesn't get dark untill atleast 8 or 9 now
Not sure on the cafes opening hours though?

Or those Lotus wheels you mentioned. Looks great minus the rubbing strips on yours too, Lee! Losing them was mentioned at the Limes meet, along with losing about an inch in ride height.  |
