Please add if you want.
Thanks to Edd "BodieandDoyle" for inviting us to this show a couple of weeks ago.
We had an awesome day, saw loads we liked and also saw a bunch of nice people, both new and also many we have gotten to know over the last few years.
I had to deliver a whole spare rear axle for the Transit, as I could not get it dismantled for Edd at my place.
Saw and heard the Transit which is on the final furlong of its re-creation.
I LOVE IT !! Sounds loveley, and the engine is sweet.
There are so many things Edd has done, and I did not get to see half of them I am sure.
Thanks to Edd for bringing it to the show.
I took loads of pics, and may post up to 86 on here.
Sorry for those who find it too much for their PC's.
First pic.... Typically Edd, Solutions, not problems.
How about solving the short leg dilema ?
Golf was exceptionally clean.
Would love it on my driveway.
I love pickups.
The WIZARD himself.
Builder extraordinaire..... Edd.
These are deceptively huge.
1500cc Alfa Boxer power, lovely build and artwork.
Pops pop up everywhere. 2 Lovely examples.... Had Nicola drooling, and head under the hood for a while.
Yep, I do believe it is a Hudson.
Did I mention I like trucks ?
1963.... my birth year.
Very well executed modern.
Saw this at teh camp gropunds, would love to have one and make a small camping trailer/caravan out of it. Glassfibre Pod is a good place to start.
Wonder where I could find one....
Positively HUUUUGE !!
Very 80's ??
WANT !!
Maybe another thing to build sometime.
I do like Razorback Karmann Ghia's.
Gorgeous.
Back to my Transit.....
Engine fits well.
Edd and Nicola in the same pic.... ?
Stuyizz's beauty, on fresh Banded steels.
Another Ford Popular....
Amazon Estate.... Lovely.
This truck had loads of details that I liked... so got 3 pics.
On the way out, we saw this Citroen Traction Avant.
Another car that was built and born beautifull.
I love pinstripes and Tiki's So here is a combination of them.
Last car on the way out, he pulled away in a way that had me ,emtion some unpleasantless under my breath.... then we found him broken down 300 yards further when we left.
A great day out with Nicola and loads of nice people there, some old frineds and some new people met.
Next year we may be there again, rather than the huge show that is The Bromley Motoring Pageant. We did it last year, but found it too big and spread out.
