Dudes, if I have a transmission here which has a hydraulic clutch by natural inclination, but the car I intend to fit it to is running a cable clutch, what are my sensible options. I know I could fek about and put a hydraulic clutch pedal, MC, etc. in the car, but I don't want to do that.
I am sure I have seen a cable operated MC which you could mount under the car, use the stock cable and use a short run of pipe to use the stock SS for the clutch.
I also recall talk of retrofitting a cable actuator to a hydraulic clutch.
Box is an LT77 BTW if this makes any difference.

LDV 300/400 had hdraulic clutch however when they fitted the Peugeot 2.5 diesel lump they used a gearbox that took cable operation. Rather then change pedal box they fitted a converter similar to the above that bolted to the master cylinder holes so it might be a good start to modifiy to the other way round. I wonder if the later Transit powered might also be the same ? Also look at a Land Rover clutch pedal (seperate box to brake - I've chucked loads away !) as that too would be easy to adapt so a cable operated a master cylinder. img.photobucket.com/albums/v384/western214h/File0060.jpgPaul H
