This is a massive journey and I'm currently looking into options. I've checked out the Pony Express map but I'm not sure that any one person can cover the 200-odd miles involved, but anything to save risking a courier or my Dad's Volvo the 450 mile round trip would be great!
Of course, if you can get all the way then there would definitely be liquid refreshment and petrol compensation in the form of pictures of the queen for your trouble.
At the moment, the only price I have is £76 in fuel for the round trip. I'm looking to reduce that as much as possible. Collecting large rear side glass, rear window and smaller interior items (the glass is why I don't want to risk the courier) for a Mk2 Polo.
I feel a little awkward asking for help with such a long trip, but it's the first time I've come across the parts I'm after *anywhere* in the past 18 months or so and they're really reasonably priced so I don't want to pass them up.
Even a halfway pickup would be useful if it was on someone's way, though that could be tricky to arrange.
Any help with this one is MASSIVELY appreciated, it'll really help my project move along faster and cheaper, especially if I can bash that £76 down to something smaller. I entirely understand if nobody can help with this one too, it's a big ask.
