Hello all old RR's and hello to all the new people.
I've been busy (not at Her Majesty's Pleasure either before you ask!). Work and family life plus being in a band (I quit that!) meant little time for cars. Well, I've found more time of late and thought I'd log back in.
What prompted this return? Seth's early morning London run last week. Rmad took me as shotgun in the Cressy and I had a great time. Getting a ride in Russ's Austin and Seth's Hillman made it all the more exciting.
So, When I got home on the Sunday morning I set to and removed the nasty black rubbing strip down the sides of my current car (1995 Cinquecento Sporting) and have removed the boot lock, wiper and washer jet this weekend. I'm looking at those springs and the arch to tyre relationship at the moment.......you can guess the rest.
I've been on the Fiat Forum for a year or so since buying the Cinq and whilst they are great fun, cut springs send a shiver down most spines there!
Here it is from behind (no jokes please!) and more to come if I get the grinder out.
Nice to be back.
