Hi guys, a while back I did my arches on the Capri (below) and smoothed them in as well with lots of sanding and filler and sanding and sanding and sanding................... and sanding etc..
They lasted really well but I had an 'unplanned overhaul' after the build involving a fair amount of heavy work and dropping things on arches and various parts of bodywork so its not looking as crisp as it did. I was wondering is there some sort of 'gel' or 'sealer' or something that I could thinly apply over the edges of the arches to cover any hairline cracks to tidy it up before giving it a quick coat of matt black? (so that it wouldnt show through the paint... The car is matt black and I only want to tidy it a bit. I see escorts with my arches on that look like they've had this were perhaps the arches aer bolted and some sort of gel or sealer is used to smooth them rather than filler
