I've just got back from Gary's PicNic. Some ace machinery there, weather was great - ie not too hot so you burn, not wet so you can race. I decided against running the Carlton.
As I took 2 million photos I will put them up over the space of a couple of days as and when I find time and group them by type as it were.
This set is the VW and VW powered stuff.
Some of these cars are mental quick.
This one was just parked up (AFAIK)
Clean panel van
This was quick
I loved this, 50s Renner Dauphine with flat 4 power. Was running a little off song I think.
Clean Fiat was running well and hard though.
Some familiar cars there
Shot with the Chevy gives a clue as to what the next gallery post will be like...
Blue bug moves it.
Splittie in action
Told you that Fiat had the beans
Nother Fiat and KG line up
Black bug
Another "crossover" post with a Chevy in it in case anyone is having an air cool overdose by this point.
think this is the same black bug as before.
Here comes that Dauphine again....
Lovely n'est pas?
You wait all day for a bus and then...
DAUPHINE WARNING
feckin awesome
Now this one was just stunningly presented, ran nice too.
I kinda like the ratty black bug too
Not OTT - just nice patina
Fiat on the move again...
Odd set in the pits. Wildbuncher, VW and a Winebago
Very clean bus.
Bug in front of the local mobile library
Drop top
Has a "vibe"
Always impressed by the paint and presentation on this KG
This was a stunner too. Came very close to creaming itself on the barrier too on Sunday from pics I saw of its "messy" run... Lucky save there.
The two bumpers show the altitude correction...
Gold bug pun required.
Hey, its a flat four....
The end.
For now.
