Good and Bad Some thieving knacker stole my car transporter, mind you, it had no brakes or lights ,wobbly hubs, winch was shagged and the mudguards were held on with cable ties, but the thought of some prick trespassing on my property makes me sick... hope the C%&T dies roaring Good news is I've been offered some freelance work on a new Irish classic car magazine, and I've decided to let my Mk1 Triumph 2000 go, so I'll be shopping for new wheels when (if!!) it sells.

blue850 in da house: My weekend
Stolen stuff stinks but getting to work on a car rag must be inspiring....
My weekend can be summed up in one word SNOW, saturday & sunday I got another 30cm of the white stuff, in some places I now have over 1 meter of snow and down by the road the plowed up snow towers almost 2 meters, I'm so tired of this stuff by now, sure it's beautyfull today with blue skyes, the sun and -15 celcius, it's crisp....
DP says: I want spring, I want to drive bikes.........

Sucks to hear about the trailer, seems to be alot of theivery around at the moment. sucks. hope this story cheers you up!
My oldest brother works for a property flood and fire restoration company and today he picked up the keys to a place, turned up, opend the door of this flooded house and found it had been burgled over night, phoned the owner, after looking around they decided that all they stole was a TV which had been sitting in water and there was no way it would work... fools.
good luck with the job!

my neighbours had their trailer stolen by travellers, my brother saw a suspicious van hanging about at my neighbours drive at about 2am. he obviously didnt want to go out alone and confrotn 4 burley blokes so called the police and the tossers still did nothing. trailer theft seems to be quite an easy game, easy to steal hard to trace and police don't seem to care either

Thanks for the replies, trailer wasn't woth a lot but it was damn handy, once used it to tow a dead Fiat 126, bombing down the motorway from Dublin @ 70, forgot all about the trailer width until I came across road works and put traffic cones everywhere.. Hoping to get a Merecedes W114/W115 to replace the T2000 but the missus reckons a W123 or BMW 2002 should be on the list as well, and hopefully the freelance stuff will pay for it! Went to look at a 71 200 last week drove 3 hours to spend 10 minutes looking at it, decided it 'd be rude if I didn't get out of my car to at least look at it. turned out to be a fruit salad. Lemon yellow in colour with orange peel paint and rotten as a pear....
