fitted the n/s/f spring today. noticed the o/s/f ferrule had split. tapped a bubbly bit on the n/s/f chassie with a hammer that made another two bleeding holes. I'm going to call it rusty the capri. its rusty, its black, and it'll be phat! ;D

But, how about introducing us to your projects so that we know what you're talking about? Give us a garage tour.

...I thought Dave364634 HAD given us a sort of 'description' of what he was doing in past posts. e.g. The Capri he's rebuilding, the brake conversion problem and how another member (can't remember who) had told him about this site which is why he posts.

Aye, its not exactly friendly like to newbies is it? I noticed Mr B has made a couple of barbed replies in Dave's posts. OK Dave may not be the most eloquent and verbose individual contributing to the site, and theres not going to be a pullizer prize for anyting he's put up so far, but the point is he's a straight up bloke working on old school Fords and doing it not by writing a cheque to the guys who advertise shiny conversion kit stuff in Classic Ford but by making it all himself.
It was me suggested he came over here.

Hey, do you see me questioning any of that? Course I am not. Am I saying I don't want him to post? Defo not - I just asked him to give us a garage tour. Just give us a bit of info to go on thats all. Anyway, its not my forum so i'll just drink a quick cup of STFU on the matter. As you were dave581269! Carry on!

Mr B, not wanting to be arsey with you but you did seem to be being arsey with him. Was how it read to me. If thats not how it was meant then fair enough. You got another mug of the STFU 'cos our canteen's fresh out of it.
Dave, get some more pics up and maybe recap some of the old stories about flying Escorts and home made nitrous... You still got that BTW?

I have a feeling that it might be one of those things where you had to be there at the time sort of thing...
The nitrous kit, well, I'll let Dave explain but it seemed to me to involve the sort of stuff you'd scrounge off a mate who's a plumber more than anything you'd get out of a performance parts catalogue...

Yeah dave364636 (vital stats!) dump a car in the readers rides section so we got a good idea what happening. additionally it wouldn't hurt to squeeze some digi pics on here and proof read through your post before you send. As an ex capri owner and currenly a sierra owner i look forward to the story...
