I got a call today and was asked to go for an interview for a job I hadn`t applied for. The role is a parts coordinator for the Aston Martin DBRS9 up at Prodrive in Banbury. I'm currently working temporarily in the parts department for a car manufacturer so have a fair clue of what is involved but I don`t want to get my hopes up too early, but wanted to get some advice on interviews or from anyone who works in a similar role in parts, logistics etc

congrats mate, my fingers are crossed. i work in logistics for calsonic, supplying bits for nissan, I'm the goods in bloke. mainly involves driving a forklift and remembering millions of ten digit part numbers. i suspect the job your going for is at a higher level than me. again good luck.

I have applied there in the past but nothing came of it and got the usaul "keeping your details on file" but I guess they actually do refer back to past applications.
BGTMIDGET74746, I'm with you, it'd be great to get a capable retro motor for the daily commute, the Polo is starting to struggle a bit, 250 miles per week mostly on country lanes ;D

Prodrive is supposed to be a great place to work. I used to round the corner from Prodrive and you could hear the Scoobys going past on test drives.
