I was reading through the citroen thread & it reminded me of an old burgundy 1984 LNA i used to have. Shortly after i "upgraded" to a talbot samba I paid £90 for it, it was 1983 & was in tank green, i LOVED it! i fitted a sunroof, sporty steering wheel, re trimmed the interior etc. I bent it slightly down a lane & lost interest in it after that. After i sold it i promised myself id have another one day. Has anyone here got one? any pics? I would probably have a rag top if i could find one. one day!

My aunt used to have a white Talbot Samba, nicknamed "Maggot", I think my nan had a 104 around a similar time too. My mates ex-girlfriend had a Samba convertible. The guy I bought my Mini from had a mint brown Samba on the drive. Can't remeber when I last saw one on the road though

My Aunt had one, in yellow. She bought it new in '83 to replace her ageing Beetle. It was the first A-Reg car I ever saw Three years later, the tops of the front wings had rotted through, and it had serious rot developing elsewhere too! Didn't last much longer... There was a brown cabrio for sale not far from me a while back. No MOT, £35... I was tempted, but my head wisely ruled that time ;D

Wasn't there a fella on here with a rally-spec Samba some time ago? Don't think he frequents this place any more

pug104's and citLNA's I remember being popular with school teachers (in my childhood days ). Still see some of those 104 and LNA's when in france but not so much the Samba which does supprise me because I think the Samba is the most new variant.
