That Lincoln is lovely, the shape of the pinstriping on the side panels is great and breaks up the vast acres of metal very well! Not sure about some of the other customs though...

That Mk2 is really excellently done. Saw it at the supernats last year. A change of wheels could change its whole attitude really easily. PV shows promise too I am

I think that Lincoln's "pinstriping" is actually tape. Its well done though.

The pv is mine. very unfinished, infact so unfinished its in pieces again already, just trying to sort out a way to lower that back end and finish the rear wings off

ok so i'll ask it...customs/kustoms? custom building means building a car up pretty much from scratch, usually using the chassis of a production car. In the 20s, 30s lots of custom coachbuilders about. Hooper, Van Den Plas, Vignale, etc. After the war a lot of people wanted a custom built type of car so started "custom restyling" production cars. George and Sam Barris set up their business and wanting to make what they were doing seem cool and different they replaced the C with a K. Barris did "kustom koachwork" and "kustom restyling" Now in the 60s "customising" went its own way, and was something quite different by the 70s. So when reffering to the 1950s style restyling work people appropriate the Barris style K for it.
