I've found a little unit in Middleton, Manchester. Its about 1000sq ft with electric and has communal toilets. It has a door at the far end to the outside world for a bit more light/fresh air and has some sort of pit that at the moment is full of water. It has a cover over it and i didn't have any sticks to see how deep it was but i'm hoping it can be stood in once the water has been pumped out so would be useful extra.
The rent is £300 a month - so is the deposit and i'm looking to go halfs with someone. The chap has said if i were to sign up before the month is out - i'd get the remaining days till the 1st of June for free so thats a little bonus.
The plan, should it go ahead is to clean the brick wall down and give it a whitewash and get some additional plug sockets and lighting strips up that i've already got as i had wired up the old unit.
It has a double metal door entrance into the compound and the same again into this unit so its nice and secure and you can drive and park inside although the amount of parking outside of the unit isn't massive but very handy for loading and unloading the car etc.
I'd need £300 off you, thats £150 deposit and £150 for the first month. Rent is to be paid at the end of each month ideally so the rent can be paid on the 1st without me having to cough up your half. Space will be split evenly, rent split evenly and everything nice and simple. I'd like to get some shelving up ASAP, and make a wheel rack so ground space isn't lost. I'd say you could get 4 cars in but would start to trip over yourself so maybe best keeping this down.
