Look what I bought today It started out life as a 1.6d. When my boss got hold of it he fitted a 1.6td. Then while I was working for him I fitted a 1.9td and a cable change box. That was about 4 years ago. I popped into the garage a couple of weeks ago just to say hi and he asked me if I wanted to buy it as it was just sitting around taking up space. So after a bit of haggling a very reasonable price was agreed, and now its mine Its a ropey looking shitter at the moment but it has a years MOT and I intend on making it look pretty Oh and it is now sitting on 4 BBS rather than the 2 Azev A's that are on the back in the pic. Cheers Sammo

Ok I think its about time I updated this ;D It has been sitting in my garage for the last 6 months while other things have been going on. I was trying to sell it a little while ago as my Mrs wanted us to get a convertible. Well we have since split up so the work can commence My plans with it have changed slightly. I know originally I was going to get the bodywork sorted, but having got a couple of rough estimates, it is going to cost a fecking fortune! So...... I happen to have a complete G60 conversion sitting in my shed ;D I am just collecting up the last few bits and then the conversion can start The engine came out of my Brothers Mk2 Golf G60 and was running about 220bhp When it was in his Golf he could quite easily keep up with my 400bhp Evo So once its in the Caddy it should be pretty rapid! I am going to leave the bodywork as it is for now, so it will be the ultimate sleeper I bought these today to replace the shagged ones that are fitted at the moment! Brand new and a bargain price! Ignore the poser on the right He insists on being in all my photos these days!

Oooh shiney coileys. Any chance you could do me a favour and measure the bolt holes on them? Just need to know how far apart they are.

Seeing as the standard brakes struggle to stop 75bhp's worth of diesel, I figured they were going to REALLY struggle to stop 240bhp's worth of G60 These should do the trick 280mm setup ;D

Morning Everyone I had a quick look at the G60 lump this morning and have found a slight problem One of the cam caps has snapped in half Because the caps are machined with the head they cant be swapped from one head to another! Luckily I have managed to find another G60 head which should hopefully be arriving soon! Slight setback, but never mind!
