- full race head (port, polish, big valves etc.) steel rocker shaft and posts. Heat wrapped Geoff Howe Manifold, twin DCOE 40’s.
- High capacity high pressure oil pump, fully baffled sump.
- Aldon racing distributor
- 2" Powerflow Stainless Exhaust
2000e Gearbox
Classic Struts, -3" springs.
Decambered -2" Leaf springs, 2 inch lowering blocks, Anti Tramp bars.
Lotus Steels
This car is great fun but it is not comfy! It is noisy & smelly & your missus will HATE it. It is not tidy but is solid. It does need body work & could do with a stripdown & respray but it has all the right kit.
I have the new keepers slip of the V5 but not the actual V5 so have sent off for a new one.
I have recently spent over £1000 on this car having most of the front end rebuilt, new sills & engine bay respray.
MOT is till August 20th.
Here are some new pics, as you can see there are a few patches of bodywork that need sorting, the wings are glassfibre & are smoothed into the bodywork, but painted in yet. Same with the sills, they were replaced & have not been painted in. I caught the rear valance & that needs repairing. There's a small bit of rust on the N/S rear quarter that is bubbling through, same on the doors. There are no door cards fitted but I do have them in my garage. No carpet or headlining though.
It is solid, just needs a good tidy up. I've run it around like this but I guess most people like shiny paint.
