Bumbling through MSN today I came across this article, which also includes the most dubious "double entendre" I've seen in ages.... "akin to Goldilocks stirring Daddy Bear’s salty porridge." See what you think of their opinions (and the authors twisted view of childrens fairy tales... ;D) cars.msn.co.uk/carnews/ttitalianfeb06/

It all depends what "worsest" is actually classified as ! As ironically most of those are now icons.
Alfa Romeo Arna - Agree Maserati Biturbo - Agree Fiat Strada - Agree Lancia Beta - No Way Lamborghini Countach - No way Alfa Romeo Alfa 6 - Maybe Ferrari Mondial - Agree De Tomaso Deauville - Agree Innocenti Mini Bertone - Maybe Lancia Thema 8.32 - Nope

I'd love a Beta - what they were saying about the rust problem is right, but they're pretty damn cool none the less. The Arna was a bag of sh*te, but I'd still probably have one! ;D

Good to see the Arna there, journalists always trot it out for this sort article. Was doing a bit of research on the Nissan Cherry Europe version of it last night, discovered that out of the nearly 7000 examples Nissan sold here less than 10 remain! Don't know about the Alfa version, but I bet there's not many left. Been in touch with a guy who has a tidy one with 31k on the clock.

There was a tatty 5dr one at Eye for ages, I assume belonged to someone nearby who likes odd French/Italian stuff. Got any pic's? I assume they're all within an Alfa club? Confirms my belief that Alfa sold more than Nissan did, I suppose they had a gap in their range since the old 'Sud had died whereas for Nissan it just competed with other Japanese-built Cherries.
