Just won a Hideously expensive Piazza axle for the Kadett Only trouble is its got the rest of the car attached ;D ;D And I have to go to Swindon to get it Bargain ;D ;D By my reckoning I have just saved myself about £500 and months of searching on the cost of an LSD for the Manta Axle ;D ;D

excellent work. at least with the car attached you'll have all the bits and measurements. always a pain to find something missing that takes a life time to find elsewhere. with a whole car, its already there

yay the only thing worth having off a piazza is the axle. i know a guy who just used to buy cheap shitter piazza's break and break them cos he could make enough money off the axle alone.

I got a square £300 in the end cos the top bidder fannied around for ages, so I sold it to the underbidder.

Piazza is a development of the gemini Gemini is sister car to Kadett/Chevette Kadett/Chevette/Manta and therefore piazza are all from the same basic family tree so there is a lot of interchangeability between them, IE Kadett GTE had Manta A series Axle and it will fit in the Kadett./chevette Manta b series/cavalier axle will fit and shares internals with Manta A but is 50mm wider so needs arches on chevette/Kadett And yes it should have an LSD being a Manual lotus turbo, guy was really good about it saying he was 99% sure it was, but if it wasnt then I didnt have to go through with it as I made it quite clear thats what I was interested in ;D The other Axle I was watching was a Ventora/Viva/Firenza axle with ZF plate type LSD which sold for £575.... ;D ;D so I was more than a little chuffed

Dom, is it only the Manuals that have one, not autos too? According to the guy that owns that one in sheffield that you might be watching, then Yes its only the Manuals that had LSD`s "Hi Dominic, as far as I am aware none of the lotus handling auto's had the LSD fitted. But I will double check for you. " But I don't know for sure one way or the other I am hoping this one I have just bought has got one ;D

What is the width of a piazza axle?, i think it's the same as the A series Manta/ chevette. Is it to narrow for the B series Manta/cavalier?
