i need to make this quieter if i take out the can and fit a bit of pipe with a U bend on the end and refit the can will it make much of a difference or if i fit a longer can will that help?

Parallel twin? Mines hell of a noisy too.
Why quieter, noise regs? stealth testing down the road?
Not sure if a longer can or bend in the pipe will make too much difference but a baffled end can will. Probably loose the ability to shoot flames though.

You could buy a DB killer Ebay item number 120551394548 or go for a standard OE bike silencer

longer can would help, std road bike can would be the least restrictive for the most silencing, their well designed. how quiet do you need it?

familybanger. yes its a VFR 800 V4. we need to keep the noise down because we are only allowed to use it if we keep the noise down to the minimum. where we go is a very big private car park we are lucky to be able to use it for free. i think i will look for a standard road can and take off the one i found in my shed i have no idea what it came off there is no markings on it at all
