Hahah, well, thought this was gonna cost me £20 but ended up FREE! No idea what make it is, or what I'm gonna do with it: Arrived like this: Unknown carb: 'Dukar'?? Ive heard or DuCar but not with a K: Of course the first thing I did was strip it of all the superfluous crud: Hacked off the 'zorst for some ultimate obnoxious-ness (plus the one on there was fubarred). Its got a busted throttle cable, and is pretty hard to start - and even then keep it running is tricky So, what the **** am I gonna do with it?

Its not gonna run too well without that expansion chamber on there! 2-strokes rely on it to draw mixture into the cylinder iirc, so the fubared exhaust could well be the cause of your running problems!

Difficult to tell looking at it, but it does look 4 stroke-esc.
As for what to do with it.... it has the right sort of tyres and bars to make a good looking mini bobber style bike.
Make sure whatever you make you get something running by the gathering and can fit it in the car (I keep eyeing up the length of my chopper (snigger) and wondering what I will have to take off it to make it fit in the car!

What to do with it? Well if you decide you don't want it, it's make a damned fine mechanical donor for my Capri scooter... ;D
But seriously though - could you do me a massive favour and let me know the overall length, width and height of that engine (metric)? It might just fit in my frame...

Berny: Thanks for the offer but there's really no need... open headers is fine by me MrT: Ill measure up tomorrow if I get chance Datman: its a 90cc... VERY cub-like. All the bikes I seem to 'acquire' have starting & running issues - its flaming annoying! Guess a stator and plug aint gonna be too much dollar to refresh its ignition system. There's a bike place but 600 yards from my door so maybe Ill pop down there & see what they say. I'm thinking I might - as I don't live in the country or a farm so it'd be used very occasionally at car shows - hardtail it, little bobber seat, drag bars + some aesthetic shiz dotted about. I have no spare cash at the moment so its all gonna be free/cheap

With that exhaust it probably just needs a jet up, or a fiddle with the airscrew. +1 for the simple bob/chop plan

Ill probably go the bobber route TBH... Ive wanted a 'proper' bike in that style for a while now - they're just so much money! Hardtailing it should be easy with a piece of 1" bar

the big screw or the little screw? i think the big one is the idle, which looks like some one broke off and replaced it with a screw that perhaps should not be there, the smaller one is the air/fuel, is there no name at all stamped on it?

It's the carb we used when I raced World Formula, very simple and not much to go wrong.
