Thought I'd share this with you.
It was my better half's birthday yesterday, so I thought that I'd make her a card, rather than buy one (cheapskate).
Had a rummage around the workshop and found some brass, copper and stainless; so I made this!
I'd run out of brazing rods, so I had to solder it (which was a bit of a pig, as the stainless was really grotty to start with). It was a bit of a mess from the flux, so I gave it a going over with the mop to get some lustre on the brass. Here's a more shiny pic.
Zoe was chuffed with it and I've got a card that will keep for years to come ;D.
