Hi all, This seems to be the place to request garage space so... Looking for a decent sixed garage/unit in guildford or surrounding areas to rent for a little while. Have plenty of cars in need of dry space and at least one confirmed mate to help with fees. I'm in need of a HQ for my mini passion!!! NEEDS leccy and lighting, and forgiving neighbours!! bump!!
fallen out with a mate where my car is currently stored and don't think we'll be seeing much of each other anymore.
need my cars out asap which means i ned somewhere to store them.
looking for anything - full time employment so loads of cash now!!
or do you know of anywhere i can fiond one?

(at the pub meet - see you on Weds btw..) Shere, according to Google Maps is precisely 1 hour from me, which I'm afraid is too far (further than my current, un-ideal workshop  ) Thanks tho, shame cos it sounds ace - see ya for a pint on Weds  Nathan - sorry for the thread-jack! If Shere is a good location for you then definitely follow this up - a good friend of Nigel's will be a good person  |

BUMP Not heard anything further from nigel aaaand i am in the process of buying another car. not allowed 5 on the drive (too many apparently - parents!  ) so need a largeish space quick! need to wrap my minis up before winter. cheers. |

Another BUMP
Looking for anything now, really desperate.
Single/double/massive, i don't care, but i need to get my Mini somewhere dry this week!
Nothing local and exhausted Gumtree etc - i refuse to pay £80 for a single in the middle of traveller-ville!

I've got a 20 X 20 garage in south east London. You can probably get four Minis in it. Well, nearly. How long is a Mini?
Power, workbench, very secure, you can stash all your tools, kits, cars, etc.

nathan I'm on the lookout in for something in or around aldershot, I'm looking in guildford and farnborough as well.
i havent seen anything on a small scale, if its only big units that turn up I'm happy to meet for a brew and chat about sharing with people from here.

Thanks for the replies guys: charlie: Beckenham is a tad far, but thanks for offering. xr2000steve: Happy to share if something suitable comes up. Keep checking back and I will get in touch if i find somewhere. MIB;s: Sutton is a tad too far as well. Id like to be able to pop over after work for a few hours in the evenings etc and a long journey will put me off. Have found various industrial units, but they all want 20,000 plus rates etc and its just not feasible. Still looking.... |

I rent a unit on a farm just outside Bracknell - 20 miles from Guildford. If you're interested, drop me a PM for more info and I'll give you the landlord's number if you want it.
There are a lot of different car nuts on site. Units are all different sizes and shapes, so it depends what he's got spare.
