;D Just had a phone call ;D I had put the word out a couple of weeks back after I found the Zetec SE I had bought was properly ferked Well a mate of mine has come up trumps..... New running Zetec SE complete with all ancillaries and loom and ecu if I want it ;D ;D Its a 1600 too ;D so the 1400 cam cover will be going on it.... of course its a 1400 ocifer ;D so project Supercharged screamer Kadett is back on Track again ;D 200hp here we come ;D ;D Happy as the proverbial pig in excrement ;D

No pics, just got the call tonight and its still in the crashed Fester ;D At least I know its a runner and can hear it before he takes it out....It had to be running in order to have crashed ;D 220hp is possible on standard valve sizes according to Shawspeed ;D so with the supercharger and megasquirt that should be easily achievable ;D ;D

they had a few probs with the starter yesterday but i think it all fired up fine apart from that all they need to do now is build up the the new engine and fit it now everything all works but the 1600 is all fine no probs quite remarkable really when you think what it went through i just need to finnish off the wiring on my kadett now or they'll have theres done bofre either of mine ;D ;D

The super 1600 rally cars are only running 220bhp and thats balls to the wall?

Hey...I`m going to be happy with anything over 150, ;D but if its there with some headwork and cams on standard valve sizes then I`d be mad not to shoot for it wouldnt I ;D I cant keep the thing in a straight line in the wet with 50 something HP so whatever happens this engine is lighter (85kg dressed) and 105hp in standard form so it should be entertaining to say the least ;D

Should be wicked! can wait to see this coming together - esecailly interested to see how you get on with hooking it up to rear wheel drive. Should realy rock! Nick

Nick Thats the beauty of being an old fekker with a Traders policy ;D It doesnt really matter what I drive or whats been done to it ;D ;D But I don't know any insurance assessors that would strip and measure an engine in the event of a claim RWD requires a New bellhousing to mate to a type 9 Box and a spigot bearing in the end of the crank. Then its just engine mounts and the usual plumbing hassle that seems to come with all engine swaps Mr Sigma: Cheers but I somehow think Mr Nightmares will have me beaten on the strip Although throw in some corners and I think it may be a different story ;D Will be as you say "Interesting" ;D ;D

Cool You got a date planned for fitting it then or are you sorting everything else first. Never took any notice before but is the bolt spacing for the bulkhead the same as normal ford type or is it something else entirely.
