At that money it won't go as a banger, but years ago these were popular in the Rod classes before Starlets then 205's took over. There's a bit of a nostalgia oval racing thing going on now, with cars built roughly as they would have been 20-30 years ago, wouldn't surprise me if this one went that way.
This particular one will be like the second red 2dr partly visible, not the one in the foreground - I think that's an older version of Publica/1000/Starlet that was never sold here.
Wasn't there someone on here doing something with one? Very small, light and RWD - great combo!

I've heard of people paying silly money for cars to banger. £375 isnt too much for it to get bangered.
Also There was a Ventora for sale near me, needed a little, the guy was asking £1200 for it with no MOT which was too much. Anyway after a couple of months he's not sold it for £1200 and wouldn''t take like £500 off me so he sells it to a banger racer for £150.
Go figure?
If that 'thou' doesn''t sell for £375 someone will try a sneaky offer and for some reason its the bangerboys get away wioth that more than we do!

ONE DAY I'm going to see a thread like this, and instead of wishing someone else would buy it, I'll be in a position to do it myself... It's getting closer, but not yet

No no its not that actual car!! .. that was from some concours show in Holland I think... just showing a picture of a Toyota 1000 Realise that , just pointing out it's not the first red car in the picture as that's some older model of 1000. AlistairK, agreed that banger racers do get stuff more easily than us. Maybe because they have the ability to pick stuff up immediately, aren't so worried about condition and know it won't be taking up space forever, whereas the rest of us struggle with some/all of the above and take too long.
