I am embarking on a new 2010 project.
I am looking at fitting 240 or 740 struts to a volvo 340.
I don't even know if they look similar ,but want a set to maybe try and find out.
I'm not able to spend very mush on them as it could turn to be a waste of time but I would like to see.
so does anyone local to hampshire have a set of complete front struts from either a 240 or 740 volvo going spare that you don't want much dosh for?

Dave - what dimensions do you need to know? I'm going over for Rover 100 driveshafts (hopefully this weekend) and the seller has a collection of Volvo's he's breaking. Can do some 'guesstimation' for you if necessary. Will also ask how muxh he'd want.
As it's Euro-land the total won't be 'cheap' so measurements are probably better to start if you want.

John Hi the main dimension is the total length of the strut from hub centre to top of strut insert nut and the steering arm length from hole for ball joint to hub centre. but even a picture would do. thanks for your help. dave |
