Last year there was a big issue with toilets on the campsite, at one point on saturday night there was only one in operation and even then, barely.
It didnt really affect me, but its always been a great weekend for the family and they're saying they won't come unless the toilet arrangements are significantly better than last year. Is it going to be sorted properly this year?

Can we possibly set asside some ladies toilets?
Yes sounds daft but the mrs is coming with and will be nearly 6 months gone buy then, let's be honest mens aim after a few beverages is a bit iffy sometimes. Not just for me good lady but for all ladies, they have to sit and not just to s**t.

Awww rodit what a hero, I've not been before but having crossed my legs at a few festivals I second this motion! I shan't be remotely preggers but I don't want to sit on anything unsavoury  And i definitely don't want to crouch over a bucket!! (ewwww lol)  |

Well there is many a guy who has said i wish more women were involved in the car scene or that swmbo would come to more shows.
Let's try and make it at least a bit more comfortable for the ladies and after all Retro-Rides is all about making everone feel welcome ;D ;D

My Mrs would like to second this, She'll be around the same point in her pregnancy when we come to retro rides and as much as she loved it last year she was complaining about the loo's and dreaded having to go to em. .....not that it affects me, we've got a whole field next to the camp site once the sun goes down ;D |

Good call on the loos, Kim will be almost 8 months pregnant by the show, so i won't even risk it, but it may tempt her back if the facilities are better than previous shows.

Ah, but what about disabled access loos I am sure they will be able to use the loos at the museum. It is a good question. However, I am also tempted to say that if we end up over complicating this , as it is a "Gathering" we may end up with an ambulance, helipad, running water at each pitch and more..... One has to draw the line somewhere, and I am hoping that those with Valid reason and need for a true "disabled " persons toilet will let HW know through a PM or similar communication. One of the things I hate to see is a 6foot tall builders in 4x4's parking on the disabled spaces. I also work in the NHS and often see able bodied nurses use Disabled badges in their cars to park in reserved spaces, because they cannot be bothered with waiting for a space to open. This can open a whole can of worms, and the further we stay away from complicating this gathering and choking it, the better. Hope I made sense. This thread should be locked anyway..... it has been said very clearly at the top that the toilets have been dealt with.  |

one thing that was good at a previous show and they had them at wheels day too was a big prtaloo that just contained urinals, much better for the drunken men aim and generally meant all the actual sit down loo's stayed pretty much clean
couple of loo's earmarked as women only would be very welcomed by most too
