Been keepin' busy this weekend, keeps me off of street corners and the like.. This is my trailer.  Inoffensive, handy for camping, normal wooden sided camping trailer. Bordering on boring. cue Area 52 9PM slightly drunk playweekend madness. 8" trailer wheel. Standard fare. Boring. And rusty:  Work begins! (blink welding to tack the bands in, I wore a mask for the rest of the welding  )  Poke/strech!  Scene shot! :lol:  Overall:  Bit of sandblasting and paint and looking good!   And it even made it home! Tows fine   Coolest trailer or what?!  Plus it was Area 52's first banded set of wheels! Remember folks, I am a trained idiot mechanic. Don't try this at home with JB weld ;D |

NEAT , I like that. Wish the wheels I am building for Nicola's 100E were that easy to make up. Long way to go...  Nice wide Capri Laser bands.  |

Grizz, wouldn't it have been easier to just add a slight band to the anglia wheels? too late now, but, I'm sure you know what your doing cresad, nice manifold!  |

Would it be rude to suggest an A52 sticker inside the rim on the banded section?
I know these were made with very close tolerances and wouldn't want a sticker to put it out of balance ;D

i have one suggestion. trying to move the mudguard down to give the impression of dropped ride height? i would say slam the trailer but then it wont sit level. Then again you could channel it to get around this problem cool as foook trailer! |
