Been waiting about 6 months for an old guy to rent me a couple of garages so I can put some of the fleet in. It is only 5 mins walk from the house and all for the princely sum of £3.50 per week ! Garage 1. Needed some new locks etc. for security and a good clear out - Couple of hours later - and a bit later still - Plenty room to keep the car in and put some junk in. Another major bonus is the fact there is a large allotment behind the garage which we are slowly clearing as it has not been worked for many years. Garage 2 is a double garage with electric, a pit and a good workbench but no pics as yet. Once I get the second garage sorted I can then get to work on the tip where the Chevy is ensconsed -

Got in to garage No.2 today. It needs a bit sorting and the old guy wants to leave his pool table and other bits in but it has a good work bench with 2 vice and a grinding wheel attached. There is a pit and electrics available. Once I get it osrted I may even do some work there ! Decided to put the `Zon in No.1 - No.2 prior to a bit of a clear up -

Result ! I need more space for my shi.. . projects too. I pay roughly £7.00 a week for a council garage which is "just" big enough for 1 car with no electric & a leaky roof !

Seth - hopefully by the end of this weekend it will be out in the fresh air with new wheels and tyres. With the other 2 cars tucked up I can concentrate on getting the `39 sorted.

thats a great find cheva look out for pilgrims badges (and the Earl of March) while digging off topic i know, but.... who would put a tin of paint on that beautiful serpentine sideboard? repro or original? (if original there should be a lead lining, perhaps covered by baize, in the centre bottom drawer)

At last I have managed to get some mojo to sort the mess out - Still a lot to do but at least I have made a start.

Doing a bit more - Some racking and the place is getting a bit more how I want it - Had to concede a bit space at the back for the girl`s fitness gear (taking up bloody good space but they were cluttering the hallway) -

Ebay scores again ! I have been looking for more racking after buying new stuff but got my eye on a cabinet with a roll front. Ideal for keeping my bike gear clean in so along comes the `bay with a £7.73p bargain metal cupboard just up the road (25 miles) The best bit about this is the firm I got it from is moving into a brand new office which is fully furnished. Scored for another cupboard and 5 sets of metal filing type cabinets for the total sum of £30. Downside is I couldn`t get both cabinets in the Voyager but it wasn`t a bad ride. Another ebay bargain was the wine chiller at £20 which is now chilling my beer. Need to put some hangers in for my jackets etc. and a bit more organising - Chiller doing the biz. Going to put a work top over this area - Need to get more wall and floor paint to finish this area - More shelving needed over the top of the cupboards. More installments when I do something else !
