Got some nice 6x9s (cheers 2002gimp) for the Mazda and mounted them to the parcel shelf, then cleverly managed to shove a screwdriver through the rubber around the cone of one...
Its left a perfect small 'horseshoe' flap, the diameter of the end of your average screw driver. ie.. there is no 'hole; as such as the flap can be positioned to look like its not damaged... but it is. Am I being clear here? I fear I am not. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)
Anyway, Ive tested it and it works fine still but can I fix the rubber? Can it be glued? I was thinking maybe some kind of rubber cement like you fix bike tyres with, that way i suppose it would be able to 'move' slightly rather than superglue... Anyone had any experience of doing something like this?
