Hi guys, the unit me and a few others rent space in at the moment we're having to move out of as they are getting a smaller place with lower overheads. We're in the process of moving with them to the new place (fun easter break for us huh) but the major problem is space and lack of it.
So, I spoke with a mate who paints cars for a living, he's always worked for himself and needs a new unit so i've suggested the idea we get somewhere with a fair amount of space and anything we don't need we can rent out to others to spread the costs.
4 people are involved in getting a new unit sorted but we'll have loads of space left over. The unit my painter mate knows of has space for 15 odd cars (i've not got measurements as yet) and it has single and 3 phase electric with usual mod cons (toilet and sink
)
The plan is to get a little chill out area setup with a sofa, tv, fridge and what have you. My mates hoping to get a spray booth sorted in the new unit should this contract close so that'd be a bonus and we can talk about buying a 2nd hand 2-poster lift as the are bloody useful!
We're all like-minded chaps with an interest in older motors; i've got an E21 and E28, Liam's got an XR4i, Toms got a mk1 golf, 205 gti, 309 goodwood and far too many MX5s for a straight bloke to own and Cookies got a mk1 astra.
